Judging

Each category has a panel of judges, which typically includes chief executives of high performing councils, specialists in their field and a representative nominated by the sponsor of the category.

If your entry is successful, you will be allocated an interview date on either the 23rd, 24th or 25th January 2013. These dates will not be transferable so please note these dates in your diary now.

Successful applicants for Council of the Year and Most Improved Council will be asked to host a visit around the council in January/February 2013 and make a very short presentation to the judges and in front of their peers on 13th March, the day of the award ceremony.
